Clare Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley has paid tribute to John Minogue from Tulla who died yesterday, describing him as “a gentleman, a friend and a man who loved his community.”
Deputy Dooley said: “I was very saddened to hear of John’s passing yesterday. He was a giant of the community in Tulla. He loved Clare and the GAA and he was really a cornerstone of the community.
“John served his community as a public representative for many years and he was a kind and wise counsel on many issues. He was extremely supportive to me and my family on many occasions I will always be grateful for that.”
